All individuals and organisations interested in preserving our rich heritage of health and medicine are invited to join HMM as a member or subscriber.
Full membership is available to members of Museums Australia Inc. Membership is $16.50 (including GST) and is payable when you join or renew your membership to Museums Australia.
Subscriptions are available for all other interested individuals or organisations. Overseas subscribers are very welcome, but there is an additional charge to cover postage costs.

HMM holds meetings, seminars and workshops in Sydney and Melbourne. It
also contributes to seminars and workshops in other centres around Australia.
Advocacy. HMM committees
assist in lobbying for the preservation of health and medicine collections.
Networking. HMM members
benefit from the advice, assistance, exchange of ideas and information,
and the moral support provided by fellow members.
Newsletter.
HMM mails a newsletter to members twice a year. The newsletter contains
practical information on the management of collections, and news of health
and medicine museums and exhibitions around Australia.
